(BROOME COUNTY, NY) – The Broome County Planning Department will host a presentation
of the Broome County Housing Needs Assessment at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024,
in the Broome County Public Library Decker Room. This assessment, a collaborative effort led
by the Planning Department, provides a thorough examination of both current and future housing
needs within the county, presenting a list of goals and strategies to help overcome the county’s
housing challenges.
The meeting will include a community presentation of the draft Broome County Housing Needs
Assessment. Camoin Associates, the project consultants, will provide an overview of the report’s
findings and recommendations. Members of the community are encouraged to attend.
