Here are some tips:
- Contact Dog Control for the town in which the animal was found. (A list of these numbers is included). They will be able to safely transport the animal to the shelter or a veterinarian if medical attention is needed.
- If unable to contact Dog Control, contact your local police department or law enforcement agency, 607.778.1911.
