Broome County and the United States Department of Defense have partnered for a joint mission called Innovative Readiness Training named Healthy Broome. The mission will offer medical, dental, optometry, and veterinary services at no cost to residents from August 11 to August 20, 2025, at SUNY Broome Community College’s Ice Center.
Healthy Broome Services
The following services will be offered at no-cost to attendees:
Medical: Health exams; school and youth sports physicals; health education; occupational and physical therapy; behavioral health screenings
Dental: Dental exams; extractions; basic oral hygiene
Optometry: Eye exams; eyeglasses
Veterinary: Dogs and cats only; veterinary exams
